The Dogra Art Foundation is delighted to share that the soft opening of our exhibition Miniature Splendor: A Journey Through Indian Painting Traditions took place on August 28, 2025, at the Tower Fine Arts Gallery, SUNY Brockport.
The exhibition offers a rare glimpse into the exquisite world of Indian miniature painting, celebrating the diversity and spiritual depth of this timeless tradition.
We warmly invite the public to join us for the formal inauguration on October 3, 2025, at 5:30 PM, as part of the New York Conference on Asian Studies (NYCAS). The evening will include the release of the official exhibition catalog.
Distinguished guests joining us for this special occasion include:
- Senator Jeremy Cooney, New York State
- Dr. Heidi Macpherson, President, SUNY Brockport
- Natalie Sarrazin, President, New York Conference on Asian Studies
- Dr. Darielle Mason, Stella Kramrisch Curator of Indian and Himalayan Art, Philadelphia Museum of Art
- Department heads of Art and Photography from SUNY Brockport and SUNY Geneseo
Above all, we welcome art lovers, scholars, and the community of enthusiasts who share our passion for the beauty and cultural heritage of Indian miniature painting.
We look forward to celebrating this milestone with you.
