Today was a truly memorable day for the Dogra Art Foundation, as we officially endowed the Annual Bridging the Continents Through Art Lecture at the Memorial Art Gallery in Rochester, NY. Held every April, this annual lecture series is a celebration of South Asian artistic traditions and a gift to the Indian diaspora and broader community of art lovers in the Greater Rochester area. We were honored to have Dr. Madhuvanti Ghose and Dr. Darielle Mason as our inaugural speakers—two luminaries in the field of Indian and South Asian art. Their insights set the tone for the high caliber of scholarship and inspiration this series will continue to offer.
Through this endowment, we reaffirm our commitment to fostering cross-cultural engagement, elevating South Asian voices, and nurturing meaningful conversations through the power of art.
