New York, March 18, 2025 – The Consulate General of India, New York has recognized Vikram Dogra, founder of the Dogra Art Foundation, for his outstanding contributions to promoting Indian art and culture across North America. This prestigious honor was originally announced on India’s Republic Day, January 26, 2025.
Due to prior commitments, Dr. Dogra was unable to attend the Republic Day ceremony to receive the award. However, in a special moment on March 18, 2025, the Honorable Consul General of India, Mr. Pradhan, personally presented the commendation to Dr. Dogra at the Consulate Office in New York.
The Dogra Art Foundation expressed deep gratitude for this recognition and reaffirmed its commitment to collaborating with the Indian Consulate in New York to further spread awareness and appreciation of India’s rich cultural heritage across North America.
