The Dogra Art Foundation is honored to co-sponsor the Diwali celebrations held at the office of Senator Jeremy Cooney on November 16, 2023.

This joyous Festival of Lights was marked by an engaging program, which commenced with welcome remarks from Dr. Dogra, who eloquently underscored the significance of Diwali. The ceremony included the traditional lighting of the lamp, accompanied by Vedic chants, creating an atmosphere of reverence and cultural richness.

The event was further embellished by a captivating violin recital and a Bharatanatyam dance performance, invoking the blessings of Lord Ganesh and Goddess Lakshmi. The evening concluded with thoughtful closing remarks by Senator Cooney. The celebration was attended by over 100 colleagues, each contributing to the festive spirit of unity and cultural appreciation.
